Overnight closure continues on Tring Road as part of A41 corridor works
Tring Road will be closed overnight this week as part of work on the A41 corridor to the south of the town, as part of the development of the new Woodlands roundabout.
Carriageway surfacing is taking place on the road, with a closure in operation daily, excluding weekends, between 7pm and 7am, through until Tuesday November 3.
The section affected is between New Road and Bedgrove, and Buckinghamshire Council says that as part of the resurfacing works ironworks will be reinforced where required and road markings will be reinstated.
The authority has clarified that during these works there will be no access to or from the A41 via Bedgrove, Richmond Road or Broughton Lane, with Broughton Lane, between the A41 and Bellingham Way, access only for residents.

A physical closure remains in place at the A41 junction, with a further part closure and manned, gated restriction at the junction with Bellingham Way.
Buckinghamshire Council said in a statement: “These measures are intended to prevent inappropriate use of Broughton Lane, particularly by HGVs, as the bridge is subject to a weight restriction and is at risk of structural damage if used by unsuitable vehicles.”
Meanwhile, a 24-hour lane closure is also in place on the A41 Aston Clinton Road on the Aylesbury side of the Woodlands roundabout.
This closure will be supported by 24-hour two-way traffic lights and will enable utility trench work to begin.
Buckinghamshire Council say the trench will stretch across the carriageway, meaning works will start on one side before moving across to the other.
As part of the works deep excavation will be undertaken within both the footway and the carriageway, so the lane closure will remain in place 24/7 for public safety, despite working hours being between 7am and 7pm.
Other roadworks across Aylesbury Vale this week include footway reconstruction works taking place on side roads off Fowler Road in Aylesbury through to Saturday November 21, with work under a lane closure with traffic lights between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Saturday.
Footway reconstruction works continue this week on Langdon Avenue and Ballard Close in Aylesbury, with a footway closure and diversion in place Monday to Saturday from 7am and 7pm - Buckinghamshire Council says this work is due to continue until December 12.
Work continues this week on the Buckingham Railway Walk active travel scheme, with a new toucan crossing being installed on Tingewick Road.
Work on the scheme is expected to continue until February 2027, and as part of the current traffic management two-way lights are in place 24 hours a day on Tingewick Road from Dunstan Street to the industrial park.
As part of the scheme, a lane closure will be in place on the A421, at its junction with Meadway, between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
During this period, there will be traffic management on the Meadway junction to enable resurfacing to be carried out in phases.
