Bucks degrees approved for delivery in Crete
Students in Crete will be able to study for Bucks New University (Bucks) degrees for the first time, following approval of a new partnership with MBS College of Crete.

The partnership will allow MBS College of Crete to deliver 11 undergraduate and postgraduate BNU degree programmes from the 2026–27 academic year, expanding access to British higher education for students in Crete and across Greece.
Under the franchise partnership, MBS College of Crete is authorised to deliver the approved programmes in accordance with BNU’s academic standards, quality assurance procedures and academic oversight framework.
Students will study in Crete and graduate with a degree awarded by Buckinghamshire New University. Depending on the programme, teaching will be delivered in Greek or English.
The programmes span business, marketing, hospitality, education, psychology, artificial intelligence and mental health, providing students with a wider choice of undergraduate and postgraduate study options.
The approved undergraduate programmes cover a range of subjects, including:
BA (Hons) Business Management
BA (Hons) Marketing
BA (Hons) International Hospitality Management
BA (Hons) Childhood Studies with Primary Education
BSc (Hons) Psychology
The six approved postgraduate programmes are:
MSc Digital Marketing Leadership
MSc Artificial Intelligence
MA Education
MSc Applied Forensic Psychology
MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy
MSc Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Bucks will retain responsibility for academic standards, quality assurance and oversight of the programmes delivered through the partnership.
The collaboration strengthens Bucks’s international reach and supports its commitment to expanding access to its career-focused education through international partnerships.
Professor Sarah Williams, Pro-Vice Chancellor, External Collaborations at Bucks said: “BNU is extremely pleased to begin this new chapter with MBS and to establish a partnership built on shared values, ambition, and a commitment to student success. International collaborations such as this enable us to broaden horizons, foster cultural exchange, and create meaningful opportunities for learners.
“We look forward to developing a strong and lasting relationship with our partners in Greece.”
Katerina Foukaraki, President and General Director of MBS College of Crete, said: “The launch of our partnership with Buckinghamshire New University represents a particularly significant milestone for MBS College of Crete.
“This partnership is not simply about adding new programmes. It reflects our commitment to continuous development, to creating new opportunities and to strengthening Crete’s connection with the international higher education community.”
The partnership follows Bucks recent approval to deliver 10 undergraduate degree programmes in Pakistan through its partner, the International College of Excellence (ICE), marking a further step in the University’s international growth and commitment to expanding access to its degrees worldwide.
