Police say dispersal order will be in place during Buckingham Charter Fair’s second weekend
Thames Valley Police say that a dispersal order will be in force throughout the opening of the Buckingham Charter Fair this weekend, to help everyone safely enjoy the event.
The funfair, which is being operated by Nichols Amusements, and will feature rides, sideshows and stalls, is returning to Buckingham town centre tomorrow (Saturday), and will be open between 1pm and 11pm.

The Charter Fair, described as one of the highlights of the town’s calendar, also ran on Saturday October 17.
Police say a dispersal order will be in place from 1pm on Saturday October 24 to 7am on Sunday October 25 and will apply to the area highlighted on the map below, which includes the town centre.
The order gives police additional powers to deal with anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder.
Police said in a statement: “The order is not aimed at the vast majority of fairgoers, who attend responsibly and enjoy the event without causing issues.
“Our priority is to keep people safe, reduce disruption and ensure everyone can enjoy the fair.”
