Boss Pizza to open at former Pizza Hut site in Aylesbury creating 15 new jobs
Boss Pizza, the renowned independent pizza chain, has announced it will open a new store in Aylesbury, bringing its bigger, more affordable pizzas to Buckinghamshire’s county town for the first time.

The new store will be located at 43c Buckingham Street, Aylesbury, HP20 2NQ, in the unit formerly occupied by Pizza Hut. It is set to open before the end of 2026 and will create 15 new jobs in the local area.
Boss Pizza was established to meet the growing demand for fresh dough pizzas, and its offerings are distinguished by being 40% bigger and 50% more affordable than those of competing pizza outlets. Founded in Hamilton, Scotland, by CEO Ajmal Mushtaq, the brand has expanded rapidly through its franchise model, with stores now open across Scotland and England, including Walsall, Colchester, Bradford, Glasgow, Derby, Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes.

Aylesbury is the latest step in Boss Pizza’s nationwide expansion, which will see the brand open its second Milton Keynes store in Bletchley this November.
Ajmal Mushtaq, CEO of Boss Pizza, said: “Aylesbury is a growing town with a real appetite for great food, and we’re delighted to be opening our doors there. Everywhere we open, it’s the support of the local community that keeps us going, and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the Aylesbury community. Keep an eye out for details of our grand opening, as we’ll be giving something special back to the town to celebrate.”
The opening date and details of a grand opening offer will be announced in the coming weeks.
Boss Pizza was founded in 2020 after identifying a gap in the market for fresh-dough pizzas that are bigger and better value than those offered by the leading chains. Since launching in Glasgow, the company has expanded rapidly across England and Scotland, with the goal of bringing Boss Pizza to every major city in the UK.
