Aston Manor Care Home celebrates first anniversary in Aylesbury
Aston Manor Care Home in Aylesbury marked its first anniversary on October 29th, bringing together residents, families, team members and members of the local community for a special birthday celebration.

The occasion marked one year since the home first opened its doors, and was an opportunity to reflect on the friendships formed, memories made and relationships built with the local community over the past 12 months.
Among the special guests was the Mayor of Aylesbury, Councillor Sherrilyn A Bateman, who joined residents, families and guests to celebrate the milestone.

The celebrations included live music, freshly prepared canapés and a special team awards presentation, recognising colleagues whose dedication, compassion and hard work help make Aston Manor a welcoming place to live.
Since opening, Aston Manor has continued to develop its range of care and wellbeing services, supporting older people with a variety of needs. The purpose-built home provides residential, dementia, nursing, respite, bariatric nursing, post-operative rehabilitation and day care services.
Designed to promote independence, wellbeing and social connection, the home offers a range of facilities including a dedicated Wellness Centre with a private hydrotherapy pool and physiotherapy gym, a cinema, activity rooms, landscaped gardens and a welcoming family bistro.
Reflecting on the anniversary, Harrington Care Homes Managing Director, Rishi Dhamecha said: "We were absolutely delighted to celebrate Aston Manor's first birthday and welcome so many residents, families, friends and members of the local community to share the occasion with us.

"It was particularly special to welcome the Mayor of Aylesbury, Councillor Sherrilyn A Bateman, and to celebrate alongside the people who have been part of our journey over the past year.
"Over the last 12 months, Aston Manor has become much more than a care home. It is a community where friendships have grown, memories have been created and people have found a place to call home.
"I am incredibly proud of our team and grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way. We look forward to building on this first year and creating many more special memories together."
As Aston Manor looks ahead to its second year, the home remains committed to strengthening its connections with Aylesbury and the surrounding communities, welcoming new friendships and continuing to make a positive difference to the lives of residents and their families.
