Pig Fest 2 draws crowds after sell-out summer at Kew Little Pigs Farm

Pig lovers went hog wild as Kew Little Pigs Farm celebrated the success of its latest adults-only festival. The Old Amersham attraction was awash with visitors for Pig Fest 2, an action-packed celebration of all things pig featuring DJs, stalls, food and drink, face painting activities and even a bouncy castle. The event returned following the sell-out success of Pig Chill and the original Pig Fest during a bumper summer for the popular Buckinghamshire farm. Visitors also had the chance to spend time with Kew Little Pigs’ brood of adorable piglets, all of whom will enjoy long and happy lives either at the farm or as much-loved pets in carefully selected homes. The multi award-winning ethical attraction never sells its pigs for meat and prospective owners must demonstrate that they have suitable space and complete a pig-keeping course before taking one home. Olivia Mikhail, owner of Kew Little Pigs Farm, said: “We have had the most fabulous summer of events and Pig Fest 2 was the perfect way to celebrate it. “It was wonderful to see the farm filled with so many people who share our love of pigs. There was such a brilliant atmosphere, with great music, food, activities and, of course, plenty of time with our pigs and piglets. “Our events are getting bigger and better every year, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who comes along and supports us. We are already looking forward to welcoming people back for our Halloween Extravaganza After Dark.” The next adults-only celebration will take place from 2pm to 7pm on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1. The £30 Halloween Extravaganza After Dark will include a spooky trail, Halloween music, pig petting from 2pm until 4pm, a bouncy castle, pumpkin decorating or smashing, hot food, marshmallows and a bar.
