Aylesbury training business wins Global Award

This month, an Aylesbury-based Digital Marketing Business is celebrating a global award win as it has been named 'Digital Marketing Training Agency of the Year' in the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2026/27.

Digital Groundwork Ltd. is a digital marketing business run by Aylesbury residents James and Dr Gemma Pybus, alongside co-directors Neville Gibbons and Scott Saunders. This award recognises the team's commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible and affordable digital marketing education, helping businesses in Aylesbury, as well as across the UK, develop the skills and confidence to succeed in an increasingly digital world.

The Digital Groundwork team also has more to celebrate, as they will open a brand-new training centre at Duck Farm Court in January 2027, offering a range of practical courses for local businesses and individuals. These include free sessions on 'The Future of Digital Marketing' and 'Practical AI tips for Businesses', alongside courses covering AI website creation, email marketing, data analytics and writing effective content for customers.

There's also something for aspiring authors, with Dr Gemma Pybus offering her own course, 'Write Your Book in a Month'. A firm believer that everyone has a book in them, whether fiction or non-fiction, Gemma has written everything from children's stories to academic and business books, not to mention articles on subjects as varied as worms, bog bodies, cranes and luxury watches!

Gemma is also a Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing at a London university, having taught thousands of students from BTEC through to PhD level, and was a finalist for STEM Female Educator of the Year in 2023.

For the Digital Groundwork team, this global award is a fantastic recognition of their work, but perhaps even more exciting is the opportunity to bring affordable, practical and genuinely useful training right into the heart of Aylesbury, helping local people and businesses develop new skills for the future.
