Aylesbury actor bags big People's Postcode Lottery TV ad
Local Aylesbury disabled actor and hit songwriter Mick Walsh has landed a starring role in the People’s Postcode Lottery Christmas campaign. The festive commercial is currently airing nationwide across all commercial television stations, social media platforms, and cinemas through the end of January 2027.

Filmed at a secret location near Maidenhead, the high-profile campaign brings the Aylesbury resident alongside recognizable household names, including presenter Davina McCall and celebrity chef Fred Sirieix.
For Walsh, 69, the casting marks a triumphant return to the UK entertainment industry following two decades abroad.
"I've been living in the US for 20 years and only been back home for three months, so to get a gig like this in that short space of time was a real coup for my agent ZBD of London and myself. ZBD Talent are specialists in representing disabled talent who are traditionally under represented in the industry" said Walsh.
Beyond his work in front of the camera, Walsh boasts an accomplished track record in the music industry as a hit songwriter. He co-wrote the classic anthem "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)," popularized by The Adventures of Stevie V and brought back to top charts through PAWSA's hit track.
The Postcode Lottery Christmas commercial will remain on air and across digital channels through late January 2027.
