A smashing success! Pigs tuck into pumpkin feast at farm’s Halloween extravaganza
Visitors had a smashing time at Kew Little Pigs Farm’s Halloween Extravaganza, and its pigs were delighted to pick up the pieces.
Pumpkin smashing provided a seasonal feast for the animals at the Old Amersham attraction, with the pigs happily tucking into the leftover pieces.
Visitors showed off their creative talents in a pumpkin decorating competition and explored the farm’s Halloween trail, with winners of both competitions due to be announced this week.

Families also enjoyed toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, while plenty of visitors embraced the spooky spirit by arriving in fancy dress.
The pumpkin fun is continuing beyond the celebrations, with more pumpkin smashing videos being filmed for the farm’s social media channels, alongside pictures and footage from the event.
Olivia Mikhail owner of Kew Little Pigs Farm said the successful celebrations were a fitting reward after storms left the farm team clearing up damage and carrying out repairs to get everything ready.
Olivia said: “We had such a lovely time, with lots of people dressing up and enjoying the marshmallow fire pit, pumpkin decorating and Halloween trail.
“The pigs were very happy to help with the leftover pumpkin pieces! We’ve got some fantastic pictures and videos to share on social media, including more pumpkin smashing fun.
“We’ll be announcing the winners of our pumpkin decorating and Halloween trail competitions this week.
“After all the hard work getting the farm ready following the storms, seeing our visitors and pigs having such a wonderful time made it all worthwhile. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.”
