He was a pedestrian at the time of the collision, which occurred on Whielden Lane, Winchmore Hill, at around 11.15pm on Saturday.

His family’s statement, which was released via Thames Valley Police, also offered support to a good Samaritan who attempted to save Craig’s life.

They said: “The whole family are all devastated by the tragic loss of Craig in such circumstances. Taken far too soon and too young and will be so sorely missed by all his family and friends.

“We would also like to add our thanks and gratitude to the driver that stopped and administered CPR at the scene.”

Thames Valley Police previously confirmed the driver was not injured as a result of the crash and that no arrests were made in connection with the incident. Craig was aged in his 40s and pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
