Their pre-season training schedule begins on Tuesday, June 30 – the sessions will start at 7pm at The Grass Roots Stadium and everyone is welcome to attend.
This season, the club will be running three senior teams; the first team in the SSML Premier Division, the reserves in the Suburban Football League and a third team in the West Herts Football League.
In addition, Athletic will have an U16 team participating in the Wycombe Sunday Youth League.
Pre-season friendlies have also been arranged, with some exciting games lined up against teams from higher leagues, including Aylesbury FC, Royston Town and Hendon.

The fixtures are as follows: Tuesday, July 14 - Hendon (H); Friday, July 17 - Royston Town (H); Tuesday, July 21 - New Bradwell St Peter (A); Saturday, July 25 - Northampton Spencer (A); Tuesday, July 28 - Aylesbury FC (H); Thursday, July 30 - Risborough Rangers (A); Saturday, August 1 - Kidlington (H).
Athletic will kick off their competitive campaign on Tuesday, August 4 with a trip to Hatfield Town in the Herts Charity Shield.
The winners of that clash will go on to face either Berkhamsted or St Margaretsbury in the next round of the competition.
