Will Burton, 24, who lives in Haddenham, wanted to make the Christmas tree experience as simple as possible.

He sourced a batch of premium trees, set up treezy, and now zips around the region in his Land Rover Defender doing so.

The Works in Aylesbury, The Thatch in Thame and Hewitt’s Barbers in Haddenham have all snapped up his British-grown trees, which range from 2ft to 8ft.

Will, who studied business at the University of Manchester, delivers the trees and then picks them up for recycling once festivities are over – free of charge.

He said: “I wanted to make it really simple and it’s gone better than I was expecting. Lots of customers have said they love the idea and that’s just spurred me on.

“The delivery and pick-up makes it hassle-free, but at the same time our trees are top quality.

“And the cost is lower than you’d expect so we think it’s a no-brainer.”

Will went to Aylesbury Grammar School and last year worked as a capital markets analyst in London.

But he hopes the success of treezy can be the springboard to set up further ventures.

He said: “treezy is about offering a great service but also practising entrepreneurship – I’m enjoying every second.”

Orders can be made by email, text or over the phone. Will then jumps in his Defender with your tree and delivers at a time to suit you.

He also has tree bases, logs, kindling and mistletoe.

You can pay by cash or card and if you refer a pal, you both get 10 per cent off.
