Robot star Titan coming to Aylesbury after performing alongside Rihanna, Will Smith and Jackie Chan

Titan the robot is coming to Friars Square Shopping Centre in Aylesbury next month

Titan the robot, described as '˜one of the most in-demand acts in the world' is coming to Friars Square Shopping Centre in Aylesbury.

Titan is coming to the centre during half term on Tuesday February 16 to perform shows at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3pm.

The robot suit is worn by an actor and is controlled by a combination of body movement and remote control.

Titan has worked alongside famous faces including Rihanna, Will Smith and Jackie Chan, has appeared on The Paul O’Grady Show, The Gadget Show, The National Movie Awards and Jools Holland’s Annual Hootenanny and even carried the Olympic torch.

Titan will be performing a comedy show that involves a lot of audience interaction.

He is likely to make fun of various audience members, sing songs and possibly even do a robot dance.

Friars Square centre manager, Andy Margieson said: “We can’t wait to have a star as big as Titan visit Friars Square.

“There is already a real buzz around the centre about the event.”
