Road rage thug punched and racially abused driver after crash

A thug who punched a man in the face and racially insulted him after their cars crashed is being hunted by police.

The victim, in his 50s, was driving a blue Mini Cooper in Spring Hill Road, Grendon Underwood, and had stopped at a temporary traffic light when a man drove his red Rover into the back of him.

But the Rover driver, in his 30s, refused to exchange details with the victim and drove his car directly at the Mini driver.

The victim called the police but a few minutes later, the Rover driver returned.

He approached the victim, punched him in the face and upper body and then made racist comments before driving off towards Spring Hill.

The victim was treated at Wycombe Hospital for cuts and bruises.

It happened on Wednesday October 1, around 4.10pm and police are appealing for witnesses.

The offender is between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins, of medium build, in his late 30s, with long brown hair. He was wearing jogging bottoms and a hooded top.
