RAF Halton trainees put branded sportswear through its paces

Recruits in training at RAF Halton were among the first to wear unisex branded sportswear, being issued to regular and reservist trainees from April 1.

The sportswear will comprise of two sets of branded sport shirts and shorts made of modern, breathable material with distinctive RAF branding.

Air Vice Marshal AM Turner, AOC 22(Trg) Gp, said: “It’s fantastic to see this Royal Air Force branded PT kit rolling out. It will make our recruits and cadets feel proud and belonging to the service from day one and it will help us project the Royal Air Force everywhere.”

Recruits currently under training from Beckett Flight at RAF Halton wore the sportwear for the first time. It will be issued free to all regular and reservist phase 1 trainees and available to purchase afterwards.
