Singer with two UK number ones announced as Saturday headliner for Chilfest music festival in Tring
A singer with two UK number ones has been announced as the Saturday headliner for the Chilfest music festival in Tring.
Gabrielle, who topped the charts with the songs Dreams in 1993 and Rise in 2000, completes the line-up for next year’s edition of the two-day music festival, being staged on July 2 and 3 2027.

Organisers said they were ‘thrilled’ to secure Gabrielle for the headline slot and said she would bring ‘a Saturday night packed with nostalgia, emotion and pure festival magic.’
Gabrielle is joined on the festival’s Saturday bill by Ocean Colour Scene, Shalamar, Hue and Cry, The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr, Scouting for Girls, Alison Limerick and Clare Grogan from Altered Images.
On July 2, the festival has its Totally Tribute night, featuring tribute acts playing the music of Kate Bush, George Michael, Neil Diamond, Pink, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Sting and The Police.
The festival, which takes place on a site on Cow Roast Lane in Tring, has been running for more than a decade, with organisers creating it through ‘a genuine love for eighties music and a desire to keep it alive.’
This year’s edition featured performances from tribute acts to Robbie Williams and Coldplay, and performances from artists including Tony Hadley, Toploader, Eternal and Level 42.
Tickets for the 2027 edition are now on sale through the Chilfest website.
