Public warned not to approach violent offender who's absconded from Aylesbury prison
A man serving a sentence for grievous bodily harm absconded from Springhill Prison in Edgcott near Aylesbury last Sunday morning and Thames Valley Police has warned the public not to approach him..

Ashley Green, aged 33, left the grounds of the prison between midnight and 1am on Sunday 17 May.
Green is from Portsmouth and he is also believed to have connections in Bromley, Kent.

Hide AdDetective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who knows of Green’s whereabouts to please get in touch with police.
“If you see him, please do not approach him, but call 999 immediately.
“If you know of his whereabouts, but he is no longer in the area, please report this via 101, quoting reference number 43200144889.”
