Pair stabbed and robbed by gang in '˜unprovoked' attack

Two men were stabbed by a gang of thugs who robbed keys and cash from them as they sat in a parked car.

The pair, aged 19 and 20, were parked up in a silver VW Golf when they were approached by a group of four.

A knife was used to threaten the pair before they were stabbed in the hands and forehead and robbed of cash and car keys.

It happened in Gawcott Road, Buckingham, at about 10pm on Monday.

Police are hunting for the attackers and they are treating the incident as robbery and grievous bodily harm.

The two men were taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital, respectively, but have since been discharged.

Investigating officer, Det Con Edward Blackburn of Force CID based in Aylesbury, described it as ‘an unprovoked attack’ and has issued an appeal for information.

He said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident itself or saw anything suspicious to contact police immediately.

“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, please call police on 101.”

Three of the men were white, slim and about 6ft.

The fourth offender is black, stocky and was wearing dark-coloured clothing with a hood.
