Children’s centres across the county involved in this year’s celebrations will be running a variety of special events and activities including a decorating the bus colouring competition, a stay and play all day and a family fun morning.
A ‘spot the bus’ competition will kick off the week of fun as the council’s mobile children’s centre bus tours the county from October 20 to November 7.

All entries will be entered into a prize draw to win £50 worth of Love2Shop vouchers.
Mike Appleyard, county council cabinet member for education said: “The week is an ideal opportunity to promote the excellent services children’s centres provide for families in Buckinghamshire.

“They meet the needs of the most vulnerable and their families at the earliest opportunity, working together with other professionals to deliver easy access to the services when and where they are needed.
“So come along and enjoy some quality time together, learn new things and try out new activities.”
