Firefighters rushed to the scene yesterday on Chapmans Lane near Brill after a boulder hit a car.

Two fire engine and crews from Bicester and Thame arrived at the scene, and two officers also attended.

Firefighters had to cut a woman out of her car using stabilisation equipment and hydraulic cutting gear.

She was then passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

The firelog reads:

"One appliance and crew from Bicester, one from Thame and two officers attended.

"Firefighters used stabilisation equipment and hydraulic cutting gear to release one woman who was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service."
