Body found at house in Aylesbury after fear for welfare

Thames Valley Police has confirmed the body of a woman has been found at a house in Aylesbury.

Officers were spotted guarding a cordon which had been put in place at the house in Arundel Green, Elmhurst, Aylesbury - as reported by The Bucks Herald yesterday here.

Now police have confirmed a woman had sadly passed away inside the property.

The death is being treated as unexplained but no suspicious.

"Officers from Thames Valley Police were called to a property in Arundel Green, Aylesbury, at just before 10.45am on Tuesday (11/5) following reports of a fear for welfare," police told The Bucks Herald.

"Sadly, on arrival, the body of a woman was located inside the property.

"The woman’s death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

"The woman’s next of kin are aware and are being supported by officers."
