The athletes each received a share of a £5,000 pot which they can use to help purchase sports equipment and to cover some of the costs involved in training, travelling and competing in events.
Among the funded athletes was Charlie Walker, an Aylesbury based sitting volleyball player who represented Great Britain at the 2012 Paralympic Games and won three gold medals at the 2014 Invictus Games.
Another athlete receiving a share of the money was Cerys Allen, a snowboarder from Steeple Claydon.
She said: “This money will help me to get abroad to train with the GB squad.”
Bursaries were also awarded to Zoe Harrison (rugby union), Johnnie Torjussen (badminton) and George Winsborrow (wheelchair basketball).
