Athletes celebrate their share of funding
The athletes each received a share of a £5,000 pot which they can use to help purchase sports equipment and to cover some of the costs involved in training, travelling and competing in events.
Among the funded athletes was Charlie Walker, an Aylesbury based sitting volleyball player who represented Great Britain at the 2012 Paralympic Games and won three gold medals at the 2014 Invictus Games.
