There was fun for all the family in Aylesbury on Saturday as the town celebrated St George's Day.

The event, organised by Aylesbury Town Council, also marked the work of William Shakespeare as Sunday saw the 400th anniversary of his death.

Activities included the chance to learn sword fighting and archery skills, as well as games, arts and crafts and balloon modelling.

More than 300 Scouts also took part in the town’s annual scout parade.
