New case numbers rise in Aylesbury Vale, and three patients with Covid enter Bucks hospitals today

Another 22 cases of Covid have been confirmed in Aylesbury Vale today (June 10).
The latest figures from the government show that case numbers are back in the rise in the region after yesterday's lower total.Just six new cases were confirmed in Aylesbury Vale yesterday, in the past 24 hours that number has almost quadrupled.

Hide AdA further three patients who tested positive for Covid have been admitted into hospitals in Buckinghamshire in the past 24 hours. No Covid-linked deaths have been recorded in Aylesbury today.
Yesterday, one of just six deaths reported nationally was confirmed in Aylesbury Vale. Covid linked deaths are defined as deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid test being confirmed, the government have recorded 343 deaths of this kind in Aylesbury Vale since the pandemic started.
A further 1,021 first dose and 703 second dose vaccinations were reported in Aylesbury Vale in the past 24 hours. Latest figures show 74.4% of adults have received their first dose and 53.6% of the region are fully vaccinated.
Once again a high number of Covid cases were recorded across the UK today. Overall, 7,393 new positive Covid tests were confirmed and seven new virus-linked deaths were recorded.

Hide AdNationally, 176,559 first dose and 316,258 second dose vaccines were delivered in a day. The latest statistics show 77.6% of adults have been jabbed once and 54.8% of over 18s are fully vaccinated in the UK.
