A new Covid-related death was recorded in Aylesbury Vale today (June 9).

It is the second death of its kind reported by the government in Aylesbury Vale in the past seven days.

These deaths are reported when someone passes away within 28 days of returning a positive Covid test. Since the pandemic began, 343 deaths of this kind have been recorded in the district.

Only six new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Aylesbury Vale in the past 24 hours, a drop from yesterday's figures when 11 new positive tests were returned.

The latest vaccination information provided by the government shows that 73.8% of adults in Aylesbury Vale have received the first dose of a vaccine protecting against Covid. Now, 53.2% of adults in Aylesbury Vale are fully vaccinated.

The vaccination information is accurate up to June 8 and shows that 87,693 people in the region are fully vaccinated. In total, 121,631 first dose vaccines have been delivered in Aylesbury Vale.
