Four-year-old from Bucks raises over £1,000 for NHS

Born at 34 weeks at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Penelope had to spend two weeks on the neonatal unit receiving care. Since then she has required treatment from physiotherapy to audiology.
Penelope said: “I am raising money for all the doctors and nurses that helped me when I was a tiny baby.”

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust has around 6,000 staff who provide a wide range of services from two acute hospital sites in Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe, five community hospitals at Amersham, Buckingham, Chalfonts and Gerrards Cross, Marlow and Thame, and a number of community sites across the county, as well as in patients’ own homes.
