Coronavirus update: UK sees lowest increase in deaths for two weeks
The UK daily death toll from coronavirus has increased by less than 500 for the first time since 6 April.

There have been 449 newly reported deaths from coronavirus in the past 24 hours. This time last week it was 717.
It brings the total number of deaths in hospitals from coronavirus in the UK to 16,509 – all in under seven weeks.

Hide AdIn Buckinghamshire, the total number of people who have died in hospitals with coronavirus rose from 40 to 53 over the weekend.
There have now been 625 positive tests for coronavirus in the county since the outbreak began.
Globally, almost two and a half million are known to have contracted the disease and 166,757 have died.
