Over 2,000 tradespeople are expected to work on site over the course of the development.

The new Sainsbury’s will also bring a considerable number of new and ongoing employment opportunities to the local community, with over 150 colleagues across a variety of roles and levels set to work from the store.

Patrick Dunne, Sainsbury’s Property Director, said: “It’s fantastic to see the store starting to take shape and I know customers are looking forward to opening day. This will be a state-of-the-art store and gives the local community more convenience and greater access to our high quality, great value products.

"We will continue to keep the community updated as we build this exciting new addition to the Aylesbury community, including how to join the local colleague team.”
