An estate agents in Aylesbury has started using virtual reality technology to enhance the virtual tours of its homes.

Properties in Aylesbury are now being showcased using 4K 360 cameras.

We Sold It in Aylesbury is claiming to be one of the first businesses in the home industry to adopt the newly available technology.

People can access the tours using virtual reality headsets, while customers can also watch estate agents guide them around homes on their phones.

We Sold it founder, Gary Nunn, said: “From the onset of WeSoldIt, our mission has always been to innovate and offer our clients the best service possible. We recognised that Virtual Reality technology could elevate our ability to provide detailed, immersive property viewings without requiring the client to be physically present. In a time where digital convenience is at the forefront of every industry, this felt like the natural next step for us.

"Since implementing VR tours, we've seen a great and inquisitive response from our clients. They appreciate the ability to virtually 'step inside' a property at their own convenience, saving them travel time and providing a unique perspective that traditional photos or videos simply cannot offer. The 4K 360-degree video home tours allow potential buyers to experience a property as if they were truly there, viewing each room from multiple angles and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the space.

“We are thrilled to be one of the first estate agencies in the UK to adopt this technology, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from our clients has reassured us that we've made the right choice. Our commitment to being at the cutting edge of estate agency services means we will continue to embrace technology like VR to enhance the customer experience. We believe that this approach not only differentiates us but also benefits our clients, which is ultimately what we are all about."

The company has uploaded a virtual tour undertaken using this technology to YouTube. A VR tour of a property up for sale in Turnfurlong can be viewed online using a headset or a smartphone.
