The activity forms part of Toyota GB’s national partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which entered its second year in 2026. The partnership aims to support cricket at every level, from the international game to local clubs and community initiatives.

This year, Steven Eagell Group expanded its involvement in Get Set Weekend, helping more local cricket clubs get ready for the season. The company’s Toyota Centres supported ground and facility preparations, provided vouchers for essential materials and repairs and supplied food and refreshments to thank the volunteers working hard behind the scenes.

The Group also continued its support of the Toyota Good for Cricket Prize Draw, helping clubs raise vital funds to reinvest in their facilities, equipment, coaching and more. Over 250 clubs were supported by Steven Eagell Toyota Centres in raising a combined total of over £64,000. Nationally, the incentive generated more than £260,000 for grassroots cricket.

Alongside these national initiatives, Steven Eagell Group’s Centres participated in a wide range of sponsorships throughout the 2026 season, with a particular emphasis on creating more opportunities for women and girls, young people and players with disabilities.

Highlights include sponsorship of Junior Cricket Academy Worcester’s summer cricket camp, which provided free places for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Group also supported inclusive cricket through its sponsorship of the Bucks Cricket Disability Team and Cublington Cricket Club’s Game Changers Festival.

Support for women’s and girls’ cricket was another key focus, with sponsorship of teams at Edenbridge Cricket Club, Leighton Buzzard Town Cricket Club and Gidea Park & Romford Cricket Club, helping to create opportunities for more players to participate, develop their skills and enjoy the game.

This season, we’ve been able to reach and support more clubs than ever before, while placing an even greater emphasis on making cricket more accessible and inclusive.

“We’re delighted to be building on Toyota’s national partnership with the ECB for a second year and to play our part in supporting the clubs, volunteers and players who are helping cricket thrive in our local communities.”
