Top guitar player to perform at a festival

One of thr world's greatest acoustic guitarists and award winning musician appears as part of the Edlesborough Festival.

Martin Simpson is twice winner of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards at the festival at St Mary’s Church on Saturday June 25.

It is in its fourth year, this cosy event is tucked away and organisers are promising some local brewed beer, a stunning location and a great night of entertainment.

Support act, Tinlin, from Chesham will perform their own brand of acoustic music, easy harmonies, cool cover versions and guitar and mandolin magnificence.

The festival welcome Kimbers Men on Friday June 24.

They have been singing sea shanties and traditional sea songs from around Europe and beyond.

They’ve travelled far and wide thrilling audiences and appearing on TV with theirclose harmony vocals, their wonderful wit and their wide range of instruments - guitar, banjo, whistles and pipes. Ticket are £12.50 in advance for Kimber’s Men and £13 for Martin Simpson or £15 on the night subject to availability.
