MTC-Aylesbury meets weekly during term time to focus on songs and techniques from musical theatre.

The choir has had a vibrant and successful first year singing songs from a wide variety of musical theatre including Carousel to Rent, and in March the choir was asked to perform at a charity cabaret evening in Amersham to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Now the choir leaders will be hosting a one-off singing workshop for adults aged 16 and above, from 10am - 6pm on Saturday 30th July at Queens Park Arts Centre in Aylesbury. The workshop costs £45, or £40 for members of MTC-Aylesbury.

The workshop will be run by MTC-Aylesbury founder and musical director Ashley Turner, who will be joined by guest musical director and professional theatre performer Jemma Harris.

Ashley and Jemma will lead participants in a relaxed and supportive environment and they expect there will be plenty of laughter and fun during the day.

During the workshop participants will explore and learn singing and performance techniques, resulting in an informal sharing of the days work to invited friends and family.
