Aylesbury favourite Craftyard to open new bar in Princes Risborough

The Craftyard chain, which has bars in Aylesbury and Tring is set to move in to the old Natwest Bank on the High Street in Princes Risborough.

With the Town Council's help, the old bank has undergone some basic refurbishment to bring the property into the 21st century and make it fit for purpose.

The chain is owned by Darrell Peter and Sarah Jayne Cook, who opened the Aylesbury bar in July 2019.

A statement from Princes Risborough Town Council said: "After lots of rumours on what will happen with the former Natwest building we are pleased to finally announce that we have concluded negotiations on a 10 year lease with CraftYard Aylesbury who aim to open in May 2020.

    "The night-time economy in Princes Risborough is one that the Council felt could be enhanced, and we are thrilled to have secured a local family run and established independent business whom already have bars in Aylesbury and Tring join us.

    "We look forward to welcoming Craftyard to our High street and our community. Chin Chin!"
