Aylesbury RFC welcome Royal Wootton Bassett to Ostler’s Field this Saturday for a pivotal encounter at the top of the Southern Counties North.

With the two sides separated by just four points and with only three games of the season remaining, tomorrow’s clash will go a long way to deciding who finishes in second place - the promotion play-off spot.

Wootton currently occupy that position but a win for Aylesbury tomorrow would set up a thrilling finish to the season.

The Ducks will go into the game with confidence given their excellent home record. They have tasted defeat just once in their last 19 games at Ostler’s Field - a run stretching back to September 2013 - with their only loss coming last month against Southern Counties North leaders High Wycombe.

Wootton are also in good form and go into the game on the back of a 12-game winning run with their last defeat coming way back in early November.

The match kicks-off at 3pm tomorrow, Saturday.
