Tri-Adventure – owned by adventurer Adam Leszek Marcinowicz and run for adventurers of all abilities – will offer a variety of adventure races and activities including trail running, mountain biking, and navigation.

Providing competitors with a 1:25,000 OS map, Tri-Adventure will challenge both novice and seasoned competitors to navigate trails and hills on foot and bike to collect as many checkpoints as they can, in a set time.

Adam is no stranger to the adventure racing scene, having competed in the North Pole, Argentina, Africa, Nepal, Slovenia, Kuwait and Canada.

To date, he has has completed 19 marathons, 25 half marathons, Ironman championships and countless adventure races and triathlons.

During his career, Adam has climbed Mt Kilimanjaro five times, Aconcagua twice, Mont Blanc once, and he has been to Everest Base Camp, Island Peak and Mera Peak several times.

During his adventures, he has become qualified in many sporting disciplines including climbing, orienteering, kayaking, powerboat, quadcopter, winter skills, GPS, canoeing and mountain biking.

Taking over the company earlier this year, Adam plans to build on the solid foundations at Tri-Adventure, and he also plans to inject some new adventures into the race portfolio.

He said: “I’ve taken on Tri-Adventure to carry on enjoying what I do and to grow the sport that gave me a sense of adventure. I want to introduce it to others and use my experience from the racing I’ve done to create some great and impressive Adventure Events in the future.

“I feel passionate about creating a community of adventurers who enjoy coming to Tri-Adventure events. We welcome beginners to the sport and give them the support and training they need through our academy, to ensure they get the bug and come back time and time again.

“I see myself as a mentor to our community and will personally be on hand to offer advice and support whenever needed.”

The next Tri-Adventure event takes place in Princes Risborough on June 28. The event will feature trail running navigation and mountain biking, starting at 10am at Princes Risborough Golf Club.
