Steller Motorsport set sights on Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe
Steller Motorsport have been concentrating on racing in the Automobile Club de l'Ouest sanctioned Michelin Le Mans Cup in recent years, having contested the series with both GT3 and LMP3 cars.
For the year ahead the team are set to concentrate on their GT3 car, and as already published have formed an alliance with Chevrolet Corvette for the 2025 season and beyond.

Scheduled to start with a pre-season Prologue at Circuit Paul Ricard in France during early March, the GT World Challenge season will then visit ten tracks from April to October. Starting, again, with a race event at Paul Ricard and visiting Brands Hatch for a UK-based round in May and going on to conclude at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona next October.
Speaking last week, Gary Blackham, team principal of Steller Motorsport, said, "We are working hard on putting things together for next season. It was good to be able to launch the car last month, and people now know what we are planning.
"We will announce news of drivers when we have something to say, but its fair to say that the Corvette has created interest in the GT community, which is good news."

The 2025 Le Mans Cup season starts in April, although in a complication the competition's second round does clash with the Brands Hatch GT World Challenge Sprint Cup event, causing a headache if both schedules are undertaken by the Steller team. The team have also not ruled out participation in the British GT Championship or the Silverstone 500 race that is the championship's blue riband 3-hour event that takes place on the local track's Grand Prix Circuit in late April.
* Chris Metcalfe is planning to test a GT car early in the new year.
Having already announced his intentions to participate in GT races next season, Metcalfe is lining himself up for a test in a GT4 car while also being handed the opportunity to drive a Renault Clio Cup car at the Zolder track in Belgium.
