Aylesbury kickboxer and Pegasus Gym owner Steven Cook has confirmed two professional world title fights that will take place on February 21 in Scotland and May 30 at Wisbeach football stadium.
Ahead of the fights, Steven said: “Care Building Services have sponsored me for the world title fight and without their support, the seven weeks of preparation would have been much harder than it needed to be, so I’d like to thank them for their support.
“The first title fight is against Robert McCallum, who is both the promoter of the show I’m fighting in and my opponent. He is current golden belt European champion and has a long list of titles so I have no doubt that this will be a tough fight in Scotland but it is one that I am more than ready for after successfully defending my British title back in May.
“I have been working really hard alongside my training partner Nathan Graham under our coach Michael Graham and I am excited about the fight as it’s the one I’ve been waiting for my whole career. My aim is to be two times world champion by May.
“It will be great for me personally but it would also be great to add another title to Pegasus Gym. I’m excited, pumped and extremely motivated to get into the ring.”
