Luke and Lynda on the mark for Tring in the Chiltern League

There were a number of impressive performances from Tring RC runners at the Chiltern League XC meet at Wigmore Park in Luton.

In the F55 category, Lynda Hembury was first and Alison Harding was second, while Luke Delderfield was first home for Tring and came in a tremendous 10th place overall out of a field of 582 runners.

Elsewhere, there was a good turnout and some great results for Tring at the Box Hill 12k fell race, which included 520m of ascent.

Ross Langley led Tring home in a great eighth overall place, just missing the sub 1-hour mark, while there was a fantastic first F50 place for Lynda Hembury, with Hilary Needleman taking third.
