New signing Vincenzo Iannone was making his Corries debut, but the first half was very disappointing as Tring were second best in all departments.

Iannone linked with Andy Humphreys and fired tamely wide, while at the other end, Mursley hit the inside of the post.

It was Corries who took the lead against the run of play on 35 minutes as Humphreys swung in a corner which was met by Burfoot to make it 1-0.

The lead did not last long, though, as just five minutes later it was all square following sloppy marking from a set piece.

The second half saw a marked improvement as Tring got on top and created chances; Humphreys blazed an effort over the crossbar, while Iannone rounded the corner but had his shot blocked on the line.

At the other end a fine save by Adamson preserved parity to ensure the points were shared.
