Former Tring Tornadoes player Fin Lawless has been rewarded with a new academy contract with Tottenham Hotspur for next season.
Fin, from Pitstone, chose to sign with Spurs last year following interest from a number of Premier League clubs who were tracking his development.

Westbrook Hay School pupil Fin trains three times a week at Spurs’ state-of-the-art Hotspur Way training centre in Enfield, and plays fixtures against other Premier League academies at weekends.
Talking about the academy, Fin said: “I am so happy to be playing for Spurs, the coaches are the best and I feel I am developing well in the academy programme.
“I’m looking forward to finishing this season strongly and going on the pre-season European tours with my team-mates.
When asked about his favourite moments this season, Fin added: “It’s hard to pick one but I guess my hat-trick against Southampton stands out.
“I’m more of a winger than a goal scorer so to score three against a top academy side like Southampton was a good feeling.”
Tottenham operate a category 1 academy, which is the highest level achievable. Recent academy graduates include Harry Kane, Ryan Mason, Andros Townsend and Hemel Hempstead’s own Harry Winks.
In a recent interview about the Spurs academy with the Telegraph, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said: “It was one of the main reasons I decided to come here. The opportunity to work with this club’s academy was fantastic. I think it is the best in England, maybe even Europe.”
