With nine wins from 14 games, the Moles have one of the best home records in Division One Central but this weekend they face a Potters Bar side who beat title favourites AFC Rushden & Diamonds last time out.

“It’s another tough one,” said Bateman. “They beat us earlier in the season over at their place by a narrow margin and last week they beat AFC Rushden so they’ll be full of confidence.

“They’re a dangerous side and play with a lot of pace and movement so we’ve got to try and make sure we’ve got more on the day on what will be a difficult, sticky pitch.

“We’ve got to make sure we take care of our home points and we’ve been pretty good at that. We need more of the same on Saturday against a dangerous side.”
