Three goals from Chris Vardy, four from substitute Kieron Turner in a devastating 22-minute spell, and a goal apiece for Taylor Collins and Sonny Bailey-Aird did the damage for Tring.

Athletic produced some superb football throughout the game and a number of the goals were finished superbly.

Stony Stratford did produce a couple of chances – one of which hit the post and another being saved by keeper Tring Matt Evans – but, as the scoreline suggests, this was an emphatic win for Athletic.
