Many of Aylesbury Vale Dynamos’ youth teams have now finished their seasons and are looking forward to summer and starting again for 21/22, however, a few teams are still playing, writes Iain Willcocks.

The U12’s Colts have made it to the cup final in their league where they will face Ruislip Rangers in the final on Sunday, June 20 at Thame FC’s ground, kick-off 9.30am.

The U17’s had a solid 2-0 victory away at Flackwell Heath playing some of the best football seen this season.

The U16’s Youth were back to winning ways 3-1 against Maidenhead and with one match left, they are hoping to end with another victory.

U13’s Youth recorded a much needed 3-2 win away at Maidenhead. They went 3-0 up playing excellent passing football with Finley Callaghan pulling the strings in midfield. Maidenhead came back well but couldn’t find an equaliser.

Martyn Jones U11’s Youth won 3-0 against Wendover with another good performance from the boys.

U11’s Colts lost 3-1 to Elmhurst and U11’s Athletic lost 5-4 in a very close encounter with Totteridge. It was a decent effort in their last match of the season.

U10’s Dynamos won two, drew one and lost one in four close matches with Flackwell Heath. The games were well contested with a penalty save from a stand-in keeper and a last minute winner as well.

U8’s Dynamos won both games against Crendon Corinthians in their final match. A great end to a decent season. The U8’s Youth won all four games against Thame Youth to end their season scoring 15 goals and only conceding 3. They will go to 7-a-side next season.
