Aylesbury Flooring keep the quadruple dream alive

Aylesbury Sunday League side Aylesbury Flooring are through to the Berks and Bucks Junior Cup final after a 2-1 win over Kennington Athletic.

The SLN club are in their debut season and went 2-0 ahead through goals from Jordan Jenkins and Nick Gurney, both via assists from Thomas Brindley, before surviving a late onslaught to reach the final which could be the first of a potential quadruple.

The final will be played on April 12.

In league action, Bucks FC top Division One following a 5-1 win over FC Unique with Ray Long scoring a hat-trick, while Chearsley Cricketers are second after they beat Real Social Dads 3-2 thanks to goals from Martin Dyer, Jack Alden and Stefan Kilarski.

AYFC’s game against Weavers was postponed.
