ADL round-up: Haddenham to face Rivets in cup final

Haddenham Utd Reserves and Rivets Sports Reserves will contest the Aylesbury & District League Reserve Cup final this season after both won through their respective semi-finals at the weekend.

Rivets, meanwhile, needed a 90th minute Chris Topping penalty to see off Division Two basement side Wingrave Reserves.

Back in the ADL Premier Division, APBS are still chasing down leaders Haddenham Utd after a 7-2 away win at Pond Park. Pat Callaghan’s treble and braces for Lewis Creser and Liam McElhinney puts APBS five points behind Haddenham with three games in hand.

Pond Park, in contrast, are seemingly doomed to the drop unless they win their final game.

Milton’s 11th man then turned up before Aylesbury lost a man due to a moment of madness from the right-back. As a result, Milton fought back and scored twice, only for Dynamos to hold on for an eighth straight win.
