Brett Rule converted to close the gap to one point and Redruth quickly took the lead, Richard Brown scoring from a rolling maul following a penalty, a tactic that served them well throughout.
Rule’s conversion saw the visitors take a 14-8 advantage into the half-time interval.

Chinnor hit back and attacked down the right before moving the ball rapidly across the field for Henry Lamont to touch down in the opposite corner for Chinnor’s second try.
But yet another rolling maul from Redruth saw the Chinnor defence sucked in and a neat inside pass resulted in Sam Parsons going over for the bonus-point try.
Rule converted before Chinnor attacked with zeal for the last quarter but coughed up the ball at critical times as defeat was sealed.
Chinnor travel to Old Albanians this week.
