The villa, called the Estate of Verzano, or ‘Il Casale’, is situated in Sant’Oreste in Lazio, Italy. Sant’Oreste is in the Metropolitan City of Rome, and is located about 22 miles north of Rome itself.
The Airbnb description states that it is an “old country house with untouched charm, immersed in the Roman countryside” and that it has belonged to the same family for over 150 years.
At your disposal will be two bedrooms, a separate living area, a dining room, kitchenette and modern bathroom, as well as two farmhouses and a private pool.
The listing also explains that this property has been “used on several occasions for film and advertising shooting”, and - as well as being featured in Normal People - was used while filming Eat, Pray, Love, starring Julia Roberts.

The cost of staying at the estate will depend on a number of factors - from what time in the year you decide to go, to how many guests you’re bringing along with you.
For one night for one guest, it will just cost £35 - and the villa can sleep up to six guests. If you stay for a whole week, the host offers a 30 per cent discount.
