Video: Question Time audience member earns applause for saying Scotland is 'angry' over Brexit
An audience member on BBC Question Time who argued that Scotland should be seen as its own country and that Scots feel ignored in the Brexit negotiations won fans on social media last night.

Hide AdThe woman also received applause from the audience when she said: 'We voted two thirds to remain in the EU and we were lumped together as this country Britain.
"We are not a country, we are countries, and we should be respected as separate individuals countries with our own views.'
'Perth is quite Tory'
During the televised debate, which took place in Perth, the woman told the panellists not to treat the city as representative of Scotland.

Hide Ad'Don't judge Perth as an example because Perth is quite Tory,' she said 'But Scotland is quite angry in the way that we are being ignored in the Brexit negotiations.'

She went on: 'I find it incredible that there is so little knowledge of what is going on in Scotland and the feelings that are about in Scotland.

She added: 'I get very annoyed'¦With Tories,' which was met with laughter from the studio.
'Mature fury'
When asked by presenter David Dimbleby if she wanted a vote on independence, the woman replied, 'I would like it.. It is surely every countries right to self determination?'

Hide Ad'Your fury is very mature,' Dimbleby jokingly said to the woman.
To which she replied: 'It is, it has been festering for a few years'.
Viewers at home were equally impressed by her 'mature fury', calling her a 'legend' and a "hero".
