Cineworld is offering romantic pottery class at screenings of Ghost across the UK

Cineworld is offering loved-up couples the chance to recreate the iconic pottery scene from Ghost at cinemas in London, Glasgow and York this Valentine’s Day.

Customers who book to see the 1990 blockbuster at a VIP screening on 14 February will be able to channel their inner Patrick Swayze or Demi Moore by taking a couples’ pottery class prior to the film, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Fans of the movie can opt to have a pottery class, while listening to The Righteous Brothers' Unchained Melody - just like the famous scene in the film - in the VIP lounge, before enjoying a romantic meal.

After dinner ticket holders will then head to the auditorium to watch the film in luxury reclining seats. The pottery experience is perfect for both couples or pairs of friends.

Those who want to avoid getting messy in the class can still enjoy all the luxuries the VIP has to offer, which includes access to the exclusive VIP Lounge 45 minutes before the showing; complimentary dining and unlimited nachos, hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks – all included in the ticket price; an intimate screening room with luxurious recliner seats that have their own side-table for snacks and drinks, and access to the private VIP bar.

Where are the Ghost screenings taking place?

VIP Valentine’s Day screenings of Ghost without the pottery class, are also being held at Cineworld cinemas in Cheltenham and Sheffield, where customers can enjoy all the benefits of VIP, including complimentary dining, a private bar, and an intimate screening room.
