The Visia Complexion Skin Analysis Machine is the only one in the country, and will be used at Aurora Skin Clinics in Princes Risborough from this week.

Fine lines, wrinkles, large pores and sun damages are among the imperfections that can be identified by the £13,000 machine, and its use enables practitioners at the centre to offer appropriate treatments.

Cosmetic surgeon Adrian Richards, director of Aurora Skin Clinics, which is based on Aylesbury Road, said: “The Visia is state-of-the-art technology.

“Once you’ve had your analysis, which takes around 20 minutes, you will be presented with a print out showing the results and a bespoke treatment and skin care plan.

“For people who are committed to anti-aging treatments already, or are considering them for the first time, this is breakthrough analysis that will put you on the right path to the image that you are seeking.”

The equipment uses advanced UK and digital technology to take ultra close-up images of the skin, which analyses the facial structure more thoroughly than the human eye.
